The transition into motherhood can be meaningful and deeply overwhelming—often at the same time.
You may find yourself feeling more anxious than you expected, constantly on edge, or questioning whether you’re doing things “right.” Even when things look okay from the outside, it can feel heavy, isolating, or harder than you expected it to be. Therapy offers a space to slow down, understand what’s going on beneath the surface, and feel more grounded in yourself again. |

My approach is warm, collaborative, and thoughtful. I’m actively engaged in the work with you—not just listening, but helping you make sense of what’s going on and find ways to feel more steady and supported. Together, we’ll look at patterns that may be contributing to anxiety or overwhelm, process experiences that still feel unresolved, and build tools that help you move through daily life with more ease and clarity. This is a space where you don’t have to hold everything together or have it all figured out. |

For some clients, EMDR therapy can be especially helpful during the perinatal period. It allows us to process experiences that feel stuck—such as a difficult birth, medical experiences, or earlier life events that may be resurfacing during this time. EMDR can be incorporated into weekly therapy or offered in a more focused intensive format, depending on your needs and preferences. |
