Check Insurance Benefits

If you have out-of-network benefits through your PPO plan, your insurance company may partially reimburse you for standard 50-minute psychotherapy sessions. You can check your benefits by entering your insurance information below.
The benefits checker is an estimate, and is not a guarentee of benefits.  If you plan to seek out-of-network reimbursement, you should call your insurance provider directly to verify your benefits

Questions to ask :
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network mental health provider?
  • How do I obtain reimbursement for therapy with an out-of-network provider?
  • Is authorization required in advance?
  • Is a diagnosis required for services to be covered?
  • Does my plan cover teletherapy services?

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Scheduling

Ready to get started? The first step is to schedule a 50-minute initial appointment where we will discuss your current concerns, your goals for therapy, and any relevant history.

During the initial session, we can also discuss which scheduling option makes most sense for you -  weekly or intensive format.
