Hey there! I'm Dr. Hannah Singer, licensed clinical psychologist and adult psychotherapist based in Calabasas, CA.

Therapy approach

What's my approach to therapy? To put it simply, we work as a team to identify where you're stuck and then I help you get unstuck. I'll ask guided questions that help you understand yourself better and gain new perspectives. I will listen to you and provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to sort through tough or confusing stuff. We will identify any unhelpful patterns you're repeating and work towards healthier alternatives. I'll also teach you effective coping tools and strategies to reduce stress, anxiety, and overwhelm.

Sometimes "talk therapy" isn't enough, particularly when trauma has occurred. I am fully-trained in EMDR therapy, which is a highly effective treatment for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other trauma-related symptoms.

Therapy can be short-term or long-term depending on what you want to get out of therapy. During our first few sessions, I will get an understanding of the problem and what you hope to accomplish during our time together. Then we can tailor our sessions based on your unique needs and desired goals.

Regardless of the treatment method used, I will always treat you with respect and compassion and we will work collaboratively as a team to ensure you feel comfortable with the pace and level of depth of therapy.
