1 in 7 women will develop a "PMAD", which stands for Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder. The good news is that therapy for PMADs is highly effective and full recovery is possible. Whether you're struggling a lot, or you just need a little extra support adjusting to this new season in your life, the key is getting help sooner rather than later. I'm a therapist I'm a certified perinatal mental health specialist (PMH-C) I'm a fellow mama, and I know how to help you feel better. I offer therapy sessions either in-person or online using secure video chat. During our sessions you will learn effective tools to cope with intense and overwhelming feelings. We will work together to find solutions so you can feel better as quickly as possible. I am certified in EMDR therapy, which is a treatment to resolve trauma.
